Our Equipment & Services
Skyline Video & Photography provides high-quality Aerial Photography and stunning HD and 4K Video footage with our current ground-based range of equipment. We have a small fleet of highly capable UAS/Drones suitable for a variety of applications, and can also provide quality ground-based stabilized video footage up to 4k resolution, as well as traditional land based Photography.
Based in North East Scotland, we cover the whole of the country and can travel further afield if required.
Skyline Video & Photography currently offers our services to cover a variety of purposes such as; Advertising and Promotional material, Event coverage, Real Estate Video & Photography, TV, and Weddings are to name a few. We can also work with other Aerial Imaging providers when the need for extra personnel arises, and are certified to work offshore.
Our People
The Company's Director and Chief Drone Pilot is Robbie Lauder, who started the company in mid-2017.
Robbie has had an interest in Photography and Videography for many years, but ever since taking to the skies with his first UAV/Drone in 2016, has developed a passion for Aerial Images. Robbie completed the required training to obtain CAA permission for commercial ops in mid-2017 and has since been working on building the company's capabilities and further developing his skills as a Photographer & Videographer through online training. Skyline Video & Photography are continually working on improving the level of services we provided to our clients, with the aim of being the number one provider in the area.
The company also has working relationships with several other Drone Pilots and Aerial Imaging Companies, so we can provide multiple pilots for larger operations should this be required.
Why Us?
We are trained to the current UK UAS/UAV/Drone standards and have been granted yearly Operational Authorizations (previously PfCO) by the CAA since Sept 2017, and also now hold the new A2CoC qualification for lower-risk operations. We are fully insured to a value of 1m GBP (which can be increased if necessary).
With a background in the Oil & Gas industry, we have experience in working to the highest safety standards. We take that experience over to our Aerial Operations with thorough planning, in-depth risk assessments, and safety checks performed on all our operations.
