Our services
At Skyline Video & Photography, we specialise in capturing high-quality aerial photography and stunning HD and 4K video using our advanced drone and ground-based equipment. Our small fleet of highly capable drones allows us to take on a wide range of projects.
In addition to aerial imagery, we also offer smooth, stabilised ground-based video footage and traditional photography, ensuring we can deliver complete visual coverage for any occasion or project.
Based in the North East of Scotland, we cover the whole country and are happy to travel further afield when required.

Our People
Skyline Video & Photography is a one-man band. Meet Robbie Lauder, the company Director and Chief Drone Pilot, and the heart behind Skyline Video & Photography. Robbie started the company in mid-2017, turning a lifelong interest in photography into something more.
His passion for aerial imagery began in 2016 when he first took to the skies with a drone — and has been hooked ever since. After completing the necessary training to gain CAA permission for commercial operations, Robbie set out to build a business that combines creativity, technical skill, and a love for capturing unique perspectives.
Since then, he’s continued to grow the company, developing his photography and videography skills through ongoing training and hands-on experience.
At Skyline Video & Photography, we’re always looking for ways to improve what we do. Every project is approached with care, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for great visuals. Our goal is simple — to keep raising the bar and be the first choice for aerial photography and videography in our area.
Why Us?
We are fully trained to current UK UAS/UAV/Drone standards and hold the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2CoC) for low-risk operations. Our operations are comprehensively insured up to £1 million, with higher coverage available if required.
With a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry, we bring extensive experience in working to the highest safety standards. This expertise is carried through to all our aerial operations, where we apply meticulous planning, detailed risk assessments, and thorough safety checks to every project.
